Dee Dee Hill, a former assistant superintendent for Tazewell County Public Schools, visited campus on Tuesday, September 15, to speak with undergraduate students in 91ɬ University’s education programs.
In the workshop “Wait… Who Decided That?!” Ms. Hill explored the processes behind school decisions. She drew from her 37 years as a teacher, school administrator, and district administrator to help BU students prepare to teach and lead in today’s education systems.
91ɬ University has a 50-year history of training school administrators, counselors, and teachers through its School of Education and Social Sciences. It offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, including undergraduate programs with teacher licensure and Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation accreditation.
Tazewell County Public Schools is a long-time partner of 91ɬ University, opening doors for several university alumni to complete their student teaching and begin working after graduation.
