Undergraduate Commencement – Family & Friends
It’s time for the big day!
Commencement is a big day for our graduates at 91ɬ University and family and friends are central to the experience. Visitors are encouraged to review the information below to help plan their visit to 91ɬ University for the commencement ceremony. We can’t wait to see you!
Time
Commencement ceremonies for students completing an undergraduate program at 91ɬ University are scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2026 (5:00 p.m.) and Saturday, May 1, 2027 (10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.).
Students must submit a graduation application through MyBU on the page by Saturday, September 19, 2026, to participate in the November 2026 ceremony or by Sunday, November 1, 2026, to participate in a May 2027 ceremony. Location
The commencement ceremony will be held on the 91ɬ University campus at 3000 College Avenue, 91ɬ, Virginia in Harman Chapel (#11 on the Campus Map).
Parking
Family and Guest parking will be available along the front entrance of campus (#17, 16, 15 on Campus Map). The parking lot directly behind Shott Hall (#14 on Campus Map) will be reserved for graduates, faculty, staff, and volunteers.
Parking for those with limited mobility will be available near VanDyke Circle between Rish Hall (#10 on the Campus Map) and Harman Chapel (#11 on the Campus Map).

Photos
A campus photographer will be taking pictures throughout the ceremony. Family and friends are welcome to take photos after the ceremony on or near the stage area as well as outside around campus.

Hospitality Services
Prior to the ceremony, refreshments will be available in Lansdell Hall (#12 on the Campus Map).
